Chris and Will did a fantastic job installing a new garage door opener and key pad. It was so hot today but they worked hard to install everything. Chris explained all of our options and the price breakdown to either repair or replace the opener. We decided to get an all new opener system. After installation they explained everything and tested it all to make sure we understood and it all works great! They were so helpful and friendly and we definitely recommend Precision Garage Door Service

When I called Precision, I expected that I might have to replace the entire garage door and all the parts. However, Roland did an excellent job carefully analyzing all the components, and assessing the wear on the door. I appreciated his analysis of various concerns of the wear on the different parts of the door mechanisms. I also appreciated that he offered me a break down of cost to service each aspect, and options of service to meet my budgetary needs. I did not feel pressured to purchase any particular service package. He also told me that the door itself was a good door and didn't need to be replaced. Additionally, he told me the garage door opener was still functioning fine and didn't need any attention. I felt that he clearly outlined the various service options and let me ponder over it and choose my preferences. In the final analysis, I had him replace almost all the moving parts of the system: spring, cable, drum, hinges, rollers, and install struts. The door is functioning great, and it is much quieter than it was, and it sounds much more stable than it previously did.

From the initial phone call to the completed product the process was a pleasure. Austin who came to my home to assess the exiting door, told me of my options resulting in a replacement door was incredibly helpful as there are many options. The two techs Jason and I wish I had retained the other gentlemen's name were extremally professional, polite and neat with the install. Austin also came during the install to meet and speak with myself. I received texts prior to arrival of representatives and emails of updates. I am quite happy and would recommend Precision Door. After a power outage on New Year's Eve, I started having issues with my garage door. I called Precision and scheduled an appointment. Two employees came out and checked out the door and let me know what they could do. Today, Jimmy, came out to do on the repairs. Very nice gentleman. He explained everything he was going to do and before he left he showed me everything he had done and made sure I understood. Great guy. I would recommend Precision Doors to all my friends. I've used Precision in the past to repair my garage door in our home and they did a fantastic job. Worth the money. Since that time, we moved into a new home which had old garage door springs which I decided to have replaced before they broke. I called Precision to come out and just replace the springs. That’s all I wanted for now. When the first technician arrived, Alex, he first did a 25-point inspection which involved taking apart the motor box and checking everything inside. Well after doing so, the motor stopped working. It was working fine before he did the inspection. Alex couldn’t figure out why it was acting up and just assumed that due to its age, I needed a new motor. He then proceeded to give me replacement options for a new motor which of course, I was not yet prepared to purchase. So the motor was rendered useless, leaving it worse than before he arrived. This was frustrating to me since all I wanted was to replace the old and rusty springs! Now I was left with a non-working garage door opener. Then Alex told me that a 2nd technician, Mason, would be coming out in 15 minutes to replace the springs and rollers. Mason did the job and it really looks great. And for that, I give them 4 stars. But the fact that they left my motor useless got me frustrated. So the next day, I called another garage door repair company called "#1 Garage Door" to come out and take a look at it. Within 5 minutes, the technician (Ron) found that the tech from Precision (Alex) reversed the open limit and close limit cables. The tech from "#1 Garage Door" switched the cables, and now my garage door works perfectly again. But I had to pay another fee to have "#1 Garage Door" come out fix the mistake Precision made. I’m sorry, Precision, but my latest experience was not the best because of this incident. I usually give 5-star reviews, but I just can’t this time. I’m going to be calling Precision on Monday to see if they can reimburse me the charge that I had to pay #1 Garage Door ($47.25) due to Precision’s mistake.

He was quickly able to diagnose the problem and because there was a warranty in place, I now have a new opener. This was totally unexpected and exceedingly great news for a retiree. Bill Do you teach your service people on the phone to say one price (replace 2 springs ) $299 then when the service person comes out $680? I was at my dentist office when they called and said the different price. I told you service guy I was quoted 299. Why 680 oh life time warranty and Home Depot used the wrong parts ( which Home Depot is going to call me back about) My neighbor said your company was great.i had 2 quotes from other companies for $225 to change the springs. Why because I’m a woman would you do this to your mom. My Dentist said don’t let them take advantage of you( the woman in the office said great job Cyndi don’t let them do that). My ending price was $335 because I said yes to a metal washer? The service guy was very polite I just don’t like to be taken advantage of, also waiting for Home Depot to call me back for not doing there job correctly. Garage door was installed 2013
