The technician, Evan, arrived when he said he would and checked our door. He gave us an estimate that was fair and did not appear to be trying to "size us up" for what we would be willing to pay. Evan fixed the unspooled cable and checked our equipment for the root cause. We got an estimate to fix the root cause whenever we would be ready, and chose to complete that repair. Our garage door operates smoothly and no longer squeaks. We also received advice and options for what might happen next, in several years, so we know what is likely to be next down the road.
