I've used Precision in the past to repair my garage door in our home and they did a fantastic job. Worth the money. Since that time, we moved into a new home which had old garage door springs which I decided to have replaced before they broke. I called Precision to come out and just replace the springs. That’s all I wanted for now. When the first technician arrived, Alex, he first did a 25-point inspection which involved taking apart the motor box and checking everything inside. Well after doing so, the motor stopped working. It was working fine before he did the inspection. Alex couldn’t figure out why it was acting up and just assumed that due to its age, I needed a new motor. He then proceeded to give me replacement options for a new motor which of course, I was not yet prepared to purchase. So the motor was rendered useless, leaving it worse than before he arrived. This was frustrating to me since all I wanted was to replace the old and rusty springs! Now I was left with a non-working garage door opener. Then Alex told me that a 2nd technician, Mason, would be coming out in 15 minutes to replace the springs and rollers. Mason did the job and it really looks great. And for that, I give them 4 stars. But the fact that they left my motor useless got me frustrated. So the next day, I called another garage door repair company called "#1 Garage Door" to come out and take a look at it. Within 5 minutes, the technician (Ron) found that the tech from Precision (Alex) reversed the open limit and close limit cables. The tech from "#1 Garage Door" switched the cables, and now my garage door works perfectly again. But I had to pay another fee to have "#1 Garage Door" come out fix the mistake Precision made. I’m sorry, Precision, but my latest experience was not the best because of this incident. I usually give 5-star reviews, but I just can’t this time. I’m going to be calling Precision on Monday to see if they can reimburse me the charge that I had to pay #1 Garage Door ($47.25) due to Precision’s mistake.

Fast and efficient estimate and quick service was great. That makes it easier to accept the estimate charges which I was not expecting. I think that charge should go away when you agree to the service contract. However the tech did a great job and would recommend this company.

I expected the springs to last longer than they did, and complained, but the serviceman replaced both springs in a polite and timely manner. I'll be monitoring how long these last.

I was at home when the tech came to the house to repair the garage door. My name is Donna Bardou. The tech was very professional and offered me the option of doing other items while he was here. I appreciated that. He was friendly and was able to make the adjustment to the door in a timely manner. The scheduling of the visit was fast and easy as well. The tech phoned prior to arriving. I have used Precision previously and will use them again in the future.

Bill: The technicians did a good job. I was told by Andrew I would get another remote, we spoke on the phone. The tech's were not aware of the second remote. Also, one of the tech's looked in his phone for the agreement and said he did not see a request for 2 key pads and they didn't bring them. I called the office and talked to Charlie telling him the pads were in the agreement and I gave him the numbers that pertained to the pads. I told him they could forget about the second remote. I gave them a check for the full payment that same day- June 27th. Someone is to meet with me again about the key pads on July 2nd.

The service tech (Noel) was very knowledgeable and knew what he was doing. He was very patient with me and gave me time to make a decision as to whether I wanted to have the work done after his inspection. He completed the job in a timely manner and was very professional.

The only reason I did not give a full 5 stars, is because he showed up 30 min after my scheduled time frame. Now they did call to let me know he was gonna be late, so that was good. When he did get there, he gave me a full estimate of what was needed and prices on everything. Service was quick and professional. He left the area clean and in working order. Also went over everything with me. Would definitely recommend them.

Time of arrival was perfect. The person was knowledgable . But I think it is manufacture's fault - The cord that helps to operate the door manually is broken. And there is no way to fix that except buying a new set of door!! Something need be done

Fast quality service. Friendly tech and same-day service. The tech told us issues that might arise soon and gave us an estimate for the cost of the parts also an estimate for the cost of a new garage door. However there were no hard-sell tactics used to try to make us purchase more. The only downside was the estimated quote information from the operator. The operator quoted prices for less expensive Springs even though she was told what kind of springs we needed.

Sales person Ken, was very professional. Garage Door was installed when promised. Service person, Collin, was very professional, and worked continuously and hard, due to numerous problems which arose. The only disappointing aspect of install, no one informed me that the vinyl trim to seal sides and top of door, do not come with the installation and is extra cost. Both my friend and I could not believe that sealer vinyl trim was the normal install. This makes the install look unfinished. Had friend, who was visiting the day door was installed. He had garage door installed in Davenport by another company, the vinyl trim was included. There are slight gaps on side of door; noted last night, light and some rain came through the side of the door, when wind blew during rain storm. Would be beneficial to clearly inform customers of additional cost and not part of normal install. Would recommend your company, with reservations. If had trim part of regular install, would be 5 star job.

He was very professional about explaining it to me on the phone and to my daughter before I decided to fix everything.
