We had used Precision in the past, but chose it this time partly because of Angie's list and the 5% discount. We needed a repair on our existing system, but after talking to Blake, our service technician, we decided on changing everything but the garage door. His sales pitch included telling us that we should change everything for our 'peace of mind' since the entire system (whereas he listed the motor, springs, cables, drums, sensors, drive, rollers, and even the service calls. The only things he did not list were the remotes and keypad) as having a life-time warranty. We were promised anything short of driving the car through the door would be covered free of charge (his words). He went over that with both me and my husband separately, telling each of us the same thing. While he was pleasant, professional, and did a good job, we found out once we received the emailed documents that what he told us was not true. Only the motor is covered by a life-time warranty. When I asked about the 5% Angie list discount, Blake explained he couldn't 'stack' discounts since we were getting a break on the cost with a package deal for the entire system. So, we did not get our discount. There was also an issue with clean up, which after I complained, Blake did call and apologize.

I actually had two Technicians call me. One called because he had completed his appointment early and was in the area (thank you Nick for your willingness to come earlier). I missed that call. Later, Mr. Scott left a message stating he was on his way. He arrived promptly. Fixed what I needed, and suggested (not in a pushy way) to get new springs so that the pressure would not be on the motor. Great service and friendly!

I had an issue with my Logic Board. Lift Master sent me the part and I relied on Precision to install it. William came out and reviewed with me the task requested. Upon investigation, found that the doors needed balancing and some general maintenance. Since I have Twin RV doors he invited Ryan, one of the Managers to take a look and help advise. Ryan came out and did adjustments as needed and suggested replacing the rollers. I went with his recommendation. All service was performed in one day with experienced and curtiuos guys. Another tech arrived, Nick, who helped with the final programming. Great team with great results. I enjoyed their personalities and professionalism. They are the guys to use for your garage door needs.

Tom came out to replace both my remote and wireless keypad. He also preformed an overall inspection of my door. He was able to point out an issue that needed attention but I had no idea about. He also pointed out several things that were different about my door but didn't effect the operation of the door. He was very knowledgeable. I was very happy with the service he preformed. Next time I have a grade door issue there is no doubt that I will be calling Precision.

I chose Precision for my garage door service because the website was very informative and listed the BBB rating, with lots of customer reviews. Chris Salcido arrived promptly at 8 am a provided me with a fair quote and thoroughly explained all products and services included in the quote. I called because garage door opener would not work. The tech checked only the springs and rollers and then told us how much a new opener would be. After receiving the estimates had another company come in and that tech checked everything and the only thing I needed was a new board. This did not cost $1200 as your tech quoted me. It went on your stated reviews and was very disappointed in the service.
