Eric joined the US Navy right out of high school. He spent five years as an aircraft firefighter and completed two deployments supporting operation Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. He returned home to spend time with his friends and family. Eric received the Residential Door Systems Technician Certification from the IDEA.

Quite honestly you were the first person I called and was given a price range. That made the repair a more less known quantity. Eric, the technician was great and found that the bearings also needed to be replaced. The door opens and closes much more quietly now. Great tech, very friendly, and informative. He deserves a raise.

At approximately 7:00 PM, our garage door failed without warning. I went to the phone book, looked for emergency services and noted that Precision offered 24/7 service. Within an hour of calling, Eric Heintz, the service person, was here. By 9:30 PM he had replaced the motor. He was very informative with regard to explanation of operation, etc. Obviously a carry-over from his prior military training.

The service I received was exceptional!! I had only 1 concern and I discussed it with my technician!!Telling me my garage door could be fixed but it would take 3 weeks to get the part threw up a red flag!! Especially since there was a solution on his truck was available immediately!!! So.... not wanting to wait 3 weeks for a part...was forced to make the decision to buy what was on the truck!!!... a brand new opener with key pad, remotes .....almost $500.00 later! I'm very happy with the new opener, I was just blown away by the choice I needed to make !!! My Tech was awesome tho and did a great job!! Thank You for your quick service!!!

Fantastic service! We returned Saturday from Thanksgiving vacation to a door that wouldn't open. Eric came out on Sunday, exactly when scheduled, analyzed the problem immediately and presented me with multiple repair options, and had the work completed, all within an hour. Our Garage door would not close this morning and by 2:30 pm Eric was at our home replacing our garage door opener and repairing the door by replacing door rollers. Price was fair, work quality was excellent and tonight we have a Quiet and safe garage door opening with a wall keypad included. Eric even reset my car with the new remote.

I couldn't believe that I was offered a service appointment for between 3:30 and 5:30 on a Saturday when I called at about 2:15 on that same Saturday! Eric called me at 3:00 and said he was about a 1/2 hour out; he rang my doorbell at 3:30. I left him to do his job while I rounded up the cat, who was trying to get into the garage, and when I returned about 10 minutes later, he was finished the work. It was a simple matter of replacing two screws that had come out and allowed a panel to come loose, keeping the door from closing properly. Eric explained clearly the problem, the solution, and in response to my request, provided me with complete information about replacing the garage door, which is original to the 20-year old house. He didn't try to upsell the product and answered all my questions clearly and completely. We're definitely going to replace the garage door, probably by the end of the month, and Precision will get the job.

They are quick to respond, informative on pricing, send you a courtesy email on the work to be done and who your technician will be and what time they will be there. My tech arrived early, was professional, courteous and explained my options and what they would recommend. Fantastic service. I wish every company took this type or care and pride in what they do. Our 10 year old Precision opener failed, maybe due to lightning although it was on a surge suppressor, Friday night. Saturday morning we called, and that afternoon service tech Eric Heintz appeared. He advised us that the failed PDS unit was under warranty and no longer sold, and replaced the whole system (opener, rails, controls, remotes, etc.) for a nominal charge of $65! He was knowledgeable, polite, and efficient, and was done in less than 2 hours. The new unit is nicer than the old, with more features. A truly superior job - I recommend PDS unreservedly and will certainly continue to do business with them..

Our springs broke on our door last night. After looking on te web for companies to call, their ad sounding most promising. I called this morning and they were available to come out the same day. Eric was super! He told us what he could do and gave us 3 options. We chose the one to replace the springs, cables and all wheels with the lifetime warranty. Eric was here about an hour and a half. Did all the work himself ...impressive! Precision just started offering a discount for Military. We are always looking for companies that honor the military. So far totally happy!

Very professional company. I used them in 2002 to replace springs, etc. with a lifetime warranty. Called them back in 2014 and no problem honoring agreement for the springs(I had the receipt). Replaced the rollers due to wear and it is so much quieter. The techs were great and couldn't have been more informative and honorable. Highly recommend. They are not the cheapest but there is value in confidence, being licensed/bonded, and professionalism.
