Starting with the availability of a personal, knowledgeable person accepting my Saturday afternoon call and scheduling an appointment for today (Feb. 13) through the completion of the service provided by technician Tom Scott, I was totally pleased with my experience with Precision. Tom was extremely professional and demonstrated a commitment to excellence in replacing our openers and making sure the 30 year old doors operated like new. As he was completing the project he noticed a flaw in one of the new openers. Although late in the day, he did not hesitate to replace it to ensure we were completely satisfied with the finished product. Technician Eric Heintz came out on a Saturday to tend to an issue my tenant was having with the garage door. I had initially called the Home Warranty Service Company, who's techs came out and stated I needed a new motor and new spring for over $600.00.... My door opener disengaged from the garage door. I made a call in late morning and was given an appointment for late the same afternoon. I received a call in early afternoon asking if I would like an earlier service call. Upon arriving the repair man introduced himself and explained that he would need a few minutes to assess the problem and perform an inspection. When he finished he provided me with a through explanation of the problem, the corrective measures he would take and some suggestions to improve operation. We discussed some options, agreed on the cost and the work was complete within a reasonable time frame. The door operates quieter and with less strain than it ever has. Pleasant, friendly, on-time and reasonably priced. Problem solved. It doesn't get any better than that.

We had an insulated garage door installed with the idea that our cats could stay in there during cold weather. The door, plus a "cat door" to allow them access as they wish worked out perfectly. The space heater did not add that much to the electric bill (so the insulation must be adequate). The work was professional and the servicemen were polite and efficient. The recent visit was for a adjustment. The technician made the adjustment and then took time to explain to us the cause of the problem and demonstrate to us how to make the adjustment ourselves in the future.

Jose, we appreciate your feedback. Here at Precision Door Service, we pride ourselves on doing the job right. As a licensed contractor, we know that the State of Florida & Osceola County requires a permit to replace a garage door. We also know the framing around your door was in such bad shape it would not pass the inspection. In order to do the job right, we would need to replace the bucks with new pressure treated 2x6 with the new wind-loaded door and pull a permit for the county to inspect. Our installation manager tried to explain this to you when you were comparing our quote to another company. Although you did not see the value in what we quoted you, we still thank you for the opportunity to work on your home.

Excellent Service. Had a door opener quit and our daughter is expecting to deliver any minute.. Call Precision and they wer over in less than 3 hours! Problem fixed. Oh, since we had the door spring done by them with lifetime warranty they noticed door was out of balance. Ended up replacing springs, no charge. Highly Recommended......
