Since you were not planning on staying in the home, you asked us to leave you with a quote and you will get back with us. I believe our technician miss understood your request. Because you are the best. I called at 3:10 and some time be at my house at 3:50. Had a 4-6 window. Kerry took great care and was very efficient in his work. A very nice young man. My garage door spring broke. I called Precision since they had replaced my garage door opener and I was extremely satisfied with my past experience. The tech arrived at my home in about and hour. He was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He replaced my spring, rollers and wires. He completed the repair and service quickly. The price was fair and I now have a lifetime warranty on my garage door. I highly recommend Precision Overhead Garage Door Service.

Precision came to my attention after seeing their "Home Expert" segment many times on WFTV. My garage door had damaged hardware that was beyond my ability to repair, so I gave them a call. Their phone representative was very helpful and set me up with a same day appointment. The tech (Eric) was on time, calling me when he was 30 minutes out. He gave me an accurate estimate before starting work, giving me several options starting with "make it work for now" all the way up to "make it work for years". The price was fair so I went with a total hardware replacement (springs, bearings, new cables, hubs, etc.) He also fixed a bent track and lubricated all of the hinges and rollers. The door is now runs quiet and opens easily even with the door opener disengaged. I was very happy with the service and even happier with the piece of mind.

Precision Door Service gets one star instead of zero stars because they did send a technician out quickly to look at our garage door opener which had suddenly quit working. The technician was courteous and knowledgeable about garage door openers in general, but he told me that our current opener - not a brand they install - was not repairable and tried to sell us an entirely new package for about $500. I did some research on line and found the part needed to fix our unit for under $10 from Amazon. My husband read the manual on our unit and repaired the broken screw drive in less than 2 hours. It is working beautifully now! I'm not sure if the technician was just unfamiliar with our type of opener or it is common company practice to up-sell products and services, but I can't recommend Precision based on my experience.
