We called Precision after a lightening strike knocked out our garage door opener. The office staff were courteous and professional and scheduled an appointment for us. They came promptly that day and installed a new system. The techs were punctual, courteous and professional. The technicians spoke very highly about the owners of company, their systems and the other technicians. Very impressive!

Garage door was not opening properly. I tried to fix it myself by tightening the cable only to make matters worse. My previous repair with another vendor replaced the motor and springs but didn't replace the rollers and align the tracks or wires. I purchased the package to replace springs, cables, and rollers as they were old. They realigned the tracks and put new springs and rollers. This comes with a lifetime warrenty parts and labor. They also came out on Fathers day when I called them on Saturday, This was an emergency as I could not get my cars our. They did a great job and the door opens quietly and smoothly. It needed an upgrade. Great job.

My garage door was not working I contacted these guys and within one hour I had a technician/consultant at my door. My springs needed to be changed and my motor was giving up on me. They gave me a great offer on a new opener with two remotes and a key pad , springs, rollers , cables basically changed everything besides the door and the rails. Couple of hours after the consultant left, Todd the Technissian arrived. Todd knew what he was doing he was fast accurate and clean. Within couple of hours he was done. Now when I operate my garage door it is so smooth no grinding noise like the old one and no squeaking. Thank you guys for the great job!!!

My chain door opener totally died! I scheduled my appointment via chat and you worked with my schedule. Nick, the tech, actually came out early and explained what I had. It was no longer according to code and very old. He explained the various options available to me explaining the advantages and disadvantages. I cannot believe the difference. NOW my garage door easily glides up & down and is quiet!! No more springs in my garage! Nick is outstanding and explained everything simply while not talking down to me. I will not hesitate to continue to use Precision as needed and would highly recommend them to anyone needing repairs/maintenance.

i felt this was a sales call not a service call! the tech was nice but pushed selling! and gave excuses. i needed a spring adjustment and tried to tell me springs two years old can go bad or be broken. tried to sell me a new door opener that started @ $400 and up. i know i had issues with my opener and the people who made it (still under warranty ) told me the parts i needed to fix it and was the ones to advise of the spring adjustment.

Happy 4th of July, and thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. At Precision Door Service of Central Florida, we try to provide our customers with minimum repairs to safely get your garage door working again. We also provide our customers with recommendations to safely use your garage door for years to come. It was documented that you added insulation to your door which added weight to it. This causes the door to become unbalanced thus straining your motor. This strain has stripped the trolly and damaged your coupler, which is visible on the photos of the logic board we emailed you. As for the warranty from the motor manufacturer, if the damage to the motor was under warranty, they would replace the parts for free. Instead they sold you the replacement parts. The replacement parts do not address the damage to the logic board, and you will continue to experience intermittent problems. For this reason, the technician suggested a long term solution of replacing the motor vs piecing together your old Genie motor. After you declined our recommendations, we only provided you with the minimum repair as requested. Thanks again for your feed back,

Bill: The technicians did a good job. I was told by Andrew I would get another remote, we spoke on the phone. The tech's were not aware of the second remote. Also, one of the tech's looked in his phone for the agreement and said he did not see a request for 2 key pads and they didn't bring them. I called the office and talked to Charlie telling him the pads were in the agreement and I gave him the numbers that pertained to the pads. I told him they could forget about the second remote. I gave them a check for the full payment that same day- June 27th. Someone is to meet with me again about the key pads on July 2nd.

Jeff arrived a little early after calling to let me know his arrival time. This was good news since I'd only called a few hours earlier and was in desperate need of spring replacement and ultimately a new operating system. He explained all the problems facing me and gave me a choice of tending to these bit by bit or entirely all at once. I chose to do it entirely at one time and he set about handling the several hours of work which brought him past 6 PM. He diligently dove into the big, hours long job with confidence and with a good attitude. He is very skilled, strong, experienced and pleasant. I felt entirely comfortable leaving him alone in the garage to do his work in peace. Previously, with other companies' repairmen, I felt extremely uncomfortable due to their aggressive personalities. I would not leave the garage while they were present since I had negative gut feelings about their tendencies. E.G., I stood watch while they were onsite. Theft was accomplished, despite this, in one case. Precision has provided me with a level of comfort due to their ability to hire professionals with good ethics!

The only reason I did not give a full 5 stars, is because he showed up 30 min after my scheduled time frame. Now they did call to let me know he was gonna be late, so that was good. When he did get there, he gave me a full estimate of what was needed and prices on everything. Service was quick and professional. He left the area clean and in working order. Also went over everything with me. Would definitely recommend them.
