We were delighted the technicians could address our garage door emergency with same day service! We appreciated Dylan's call to inform us of their arrival time and also liked the email with photos of the service representatives so we knew who to expect. Both Dylan and Willam were professional and courteous. They examined the issues and Dylan presented options before efficiently and effectively solving our problem. Our older, heavy door now operates quieter and with less labor on the motor unit. I found PGD on Angie's List after the service company we used previously could not provide immediate help when my car was trapped in the garage due to a broken door cable. Thanks for your excellent service!

Contacted Precision after installing a New opener (Liftmaster Side mount) and noticed there was a twisting motion when in operation. Opener mounts directly to torsion bar. Asked tech to determine what was causing this twisting motion in the opener during operation. After 2.5hrs of work and replacing both end bearings / hammering on one side of the tracks / relocating some rollers (removal of the garage door opener from torsion bar) the door did more jumping and popping than before. Also, opener still was making excessive twisting motion. Tech told me the problem was that the center bearing was not properly adjusted and was causing incorrect motion of the torsion bar during operation. Explained that he did not have the time to make these adjustments due to another call. Should have pointed this out at the beginning when I asked what was causing the twisting problem. Gave me an estimate to replace torsion bar and springs and left. Also notice that when tech was re-installing the Liftmaster opener it was not properly done. There are torque requirements for this opener and none were applied. I had to re-install the opener myself after tech left to avoid any damage. Another tech came out two days later to evaluate my door performance and said it was fine but he did admit to the jumping while the door was being opened and the twisting was being cause by a torsion bar that had issues. He gave me an estimate to replace the entire door and said this would address all issues. I do not believe that my concerns were properly addressed at the beginning and replacing the two end bearing solved nothing. However, let me be clear that both techs were very friendly and conducted themselves in a very professional manner. Will probably contact some other company in the future.

I called Precision when my door broke and they sent two gentlemen out the same day. Scott and his helper did a great job, were polite and explained in detail what they could do to fix the door with three options to choose from. Great service and the technician was very knowledgeable and helpful. My garage door is soooo quite and smooth now and I am not sure it would have been if I did not go with the rebuild package, rather than just replacing the springs. The technician adjusted the opener as well so that it works perfectly.

The work was excellent and completed in a timely manner. There was a little misunderstanding on warranty information but was quickly cleared up by the manager. The warranty reflects a lifetime warranty parts/labor on everything installed. This was a good deal for us and now we can't even hear the garage door open/close it's so quite!
