Thank you Precision Door for installed a new garage door on my house! I called to see if they can repair a very old garage door but the Tech, Charlie Merino, was very honest to me and explained me the advantage to replace all parts that way I will avoid future breaks and save money. I decided to install a new door and the tech was very professional during the whole process of installation. Pattie Canada was very helpful to me when I decided to change my order for glass door instead of plain door. I also received the visit of the owner of Precision Door, Mr. Scott, who was very kind and a nice surprise. Thank you for your services and I certainly will recommend to my relatives and friends! Precision was four hours late in beginning the job. The appt. was for 0900. I called at 0915 and was told that the tech had called in sick. Not my problem. I mentioned that my time was valuable too. The young lady on the phone said that she would take $100 off the estimate price and have someone there by 1:00 PM. To this I agreed. The tech showed up a few minutes early. He and another guy finished the job in under three hours. They did a good job. But, the tech said he would have to do cut the trim at the shop. And would install the trim on Friday. He said I would not have to be there for the installation. The liner at the bottom of the garage door was pinched in three places and light came in when the garage was closed. Your tech said it would work itself out, I hope so.

Van and James arrived right on time and were very helpful in assessing the problems with our present door. We concluded that the best solution was a new door. They showed us a range of options as to the levels of quality availabe as well as design and color options for a new door. They helped us make our decision, but at no time did we feel pressure. A problem with our garage door opener occured after a power outage in our area. Charlie came out and explained that this sometimes happens. Purchased the deal on Angies list and within minutes Precision called and scheduled an appointment. The technician Van Babcock was on time and serviced my old, creaking garage door, replacing the parts included in the service and quoted a fair price on other needed parts. We arrived home on Friday night to find our garage door wouldn't open. Thinking it was a problem with our remote, I went to the house to open it but it wouldn't budge. I then disconnected the door from the opener to open the garage door manually, to find that it was WAY heavier than it normally would be. I looked up to find that one the springs was snapped in two. Uh oh. Looked at several local companies online and was impressed by the information on this web site, including details (and reviews) on all of their technicians as well as the video on garage door springs. Waiting until the next morning, and called the local number at around 7:30 AM. Spoke to nice person who said there were many different time spots available that day, including 10 AM to 12 PM which I selected. After the scheduling call I received a confirmation e-mail that even included the name, picture, and link to the bio of our technician, Charlie. Charlie called once he was on the way and was extremely knowledgeable and professional, and down to earth. He took a look at our situation and gave us several options, from what it would take to fix the problem at a bare level to some other preventative work we could have done at the same time to help prevent a similar situation in the future. In the end we chose a middle-of-the-road approach. Charlie finished the entire job and was on his way by 11:30 AM, which to me was amazing that it was done on a Saturday in the same morning. We were honestly expecting to have to deal with a non-opening garage door until Sunday or some time during the week when a technician could come out, but instead our problem is now fixed and were able to keep our weekend plans.

Here I was at 9:30 at night with a garage door that broke most of the rollers and some hinges. Half hanging and ready to fall at any moment.I actually called these people to set up an appointment for first thing in the morning and could not believe it when they said they would be at my house within 2 hours. I got the door fixed and the bill was very fair. These people are the best.

DEAR SCOTT, I HAD TWO SERVICES DONE BY PRECISION. THE FIRST ONE WAS ON JULY 17,2012 TO REPLACE MY BOTTOM WEATHER STRIP OF MY GARAGE. THAT TECHNICIAN WAS "WILLIAM ROBERTS" WITH HIS TRAINEE "MICHAEL YOUNG" MY APOINTMENT WAS FOR 6-8PM THAT EVENING OF THE 17TH. "WILLIAM ROBERTS" AND HIS TRAINEE ARRIVED EARLY TO MY HOME. ARRIVING EARLY IS A GOOD THING, HOWEVER I REQUESTED THROUGH THE OFFICE WHEN MAKING THE APPOINTMENT TO CALL BEFORE ARRIVING. THIS DID NOT HAPPEND. AFTER MEETING "WILLIAM ROBERTS" AND HIS TRAINEE "MICHAEL YOUNG" I GOT A SENSE THAT I WAS DEALING WITH PROFESSIONALS. MR. WILLIAMS SHOWED ME AND EXPLAINED TO ME THE TYPE OF WEATHER STRIPS THAT PRECISON USES.AFTER INSTALLING THE NEW WEATHER STRIP, HE DID HIS INSPECTION ON ALL THE PARTS OF MY GARAGE. THERE WAS A BROKEN BRACKET THAT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. MR. WILLIAMS SAID SOME WORDS LIKE "OH THAT LOOKS LIKE AN OLD PART, LETS SEE IF I CAN FIND ANY IN MY TRUCK" NOT THE WORDS YOU WANT TO USE IN FRONT OF THE CUSTOMER, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOUR MAKING A FIRST IMPRESSION. AFTER LOOKING HE FOUND A BRACKET AND REPLACED IT. WHILE MR. WILLIAMS WAS FINISHING UP, HIS TRAINEE WAS HELPFUL IN SPRAYING DOWN SOME OF THE PARTS WITH SILICON FOR PROTECTION AGAINST RUST. MR. "MICHAEL YOUNG" WAS VERY IMFORMATIVE ON ANSWERING MY QUESTIONS AND EXPLAINING WHAT HE WAS SPRAYING AND FOR WHAT REASON. IM SURE HE WILL DO GOOD WHEN HE'S ON HIS OWN. I BELIEVE FIRST IMPRESSION'S TELL YOU HOW THAT COMPANY WORKS AS PROFESSIONALS OF THERE CRAFT AND HOW THEY TAKE CARE OF THE CUSTOMER. THOUGH I WAS SATISFIED WITH THE BEGINING OF THE SERVICE. MR."WILLIAM ROBERTS" DID NOT FINISH STRONG TO THE END. AFTER THE SERVICE WAS DONE AND THEY LEFT, I FOUND MYSELF DOING A QUICK INSPECTION AND FOUND HAND PRINTS ON THE INSIDE AND OUTSIDE OF THE GARAGE DOOR(WHICH I HAD TO WIPE DOWN-NOT GOOD)THERE WAS ALSO A FEW SCREWS,OLD NAILS,WASHERS,THAT WERE FROM THE OLD WEATHER STRIP AND BROKEN BRACKET PARTS. EVEN A SMALL WRENCH TOOL LEFT BEHIND. AFTER CLEANING UP THOSE THINGS I HAD A LITTLE DOUBT THAT EVERYTHING WAS A OKAY. WELL THE NEXT MORNING WHEN INPECTING THE OUTSIDE GARAGE DOOR, I NOTICED A BIG GAP ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF MY GARAGE DOOR, WHICH WAS NOT THERE BEFORE PRECISION HAD ARRIVED. AFTER CALLING YOUR OFFICE RIGHT AWAY AND EXPLAINING TO THE OPERATOR THE PROBLEM, THEY SET UP A TECH.I BELIEVE IT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE HECTOR RIOS BUT INSTEAD I GOT A CALL FROM "RYAN HOMAN" THAT HE WAS GOING TO BE THE TECH. COMING TO LOOK AT IT. #1- HE CALLED IN ADVANCE - THAT'S GOOD. AFTER MEETING RYAN AND EXPLAINING HIM THE PROBLEM, HE PICKED OUT THE PROBLEM RIGHT AWAY. RYAN EXPLAINED TO ME THE WRONG TYPE OF BRACKET WAS INSTALLED WHERE THE PREVIOUS BROKEN BRACKET WAS REPLACED BY "WILLIAM ROBERTS" SO WITHOUT HESITATION MR. "RYAN HOMAN" CORRECTED AND REPLACED IT WITH THE "RIGHT" TYPE OF BRACKET. EVEN CHECKED FOR THAT GAP AFTERWARDS. THE GAP WAS NOT THERE ANYMORE. AFTER TALKING WITH RYAN I WAS GLAD HE WAS THE TECH. THAT SHOWED UP. MR. RYAN ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS, GIVING ME A PEACE OF MIND. AFTERWARDS HE WAS INPECTING MY GARAGE EVEN MORE AND RECOMENDED A "VINYL TRIM KIT" FOR MY GARAGE DOOR. EXPLAINED TO ME WHAT IT'S PURPOSE IS AND EVEN RECOMENDED THE RIGHT COLOR IN (WHITE) THAT WOULD LOOK THE BEST WITH THE COLORS OF MY HOME. AFTER HEARING WHAT HE HAD TO SAY I CALLED THE PRECISION OFFICE AND MADE AN APPOINTMNT FOR THAT VINYL TRIM KIT FOR THE NEXT DAY ON JULY 19, 2012. WITH OUT A DOUBT I ONLY REQUESTED "RYAN HOMAN" FOR THE TECH. THAT THURSDAY MORNING OF THE 19TH. I GOT A CALL FROM RYAN (WHICH I HAD ALSO REQUESTED BEFORE ARRIVING)RYAN SAID HE WOULD BE ARRIVING EARLY FOR THE APPOINTMENT.(THAT'S GOOD) MR. RYAN ARRIVED AND TOOK CARE OF BUSINESS. DID A OUTSTANDING JOB FROM START TO FINISH. CLEANED UP AFTERWARDS, MAKING SURE TO ASK FOR A SPRAY CLEANER AND PAPER TOWELS TO WIPE DOWN THE TRIM KIT. AGAIN OUTSTANDING! RYAN HOMAN'S ATTENTION TO DETAIL IS GREAT ESPECIALLY COMING FROM A "MILITARY VETERAN" LIKE MYSELF. RYAN IS VERY HONEST WITH THE CUSTOMER AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. ALL YOUR TECHS. SHOULD TAKE AFTER RYAN. We called in around 6:30pm and the receptionist said she could have someone here between 7-9 pm. Kevin Coker called from his previous appointment and let us know very professionally he was running late and would still make the appointed time, but that it would be on the later part. Kevin showed up at 8:50 pm. Inspected the situation and was able to repair the garage door and be finished and on his way before 10pm. Kevin was very professional, friendly, and knowledgable of what needed to be done. We would recommend Pecision Doors to anyone for there services.
