Jeff arrived a little early after calling to let me know his arrival time. This was good news since I'd only called a few hours earlier and was in desperate need of spring replacement and ultimately a new operating system. He explained all the problems facing me and gave me a choice of tending to these bit by bit or entirely all at once. I chose to do it entirely at one time and he set about handling the several hours of work which brought him past 6 PM. He diligently dove into the big, hours long job with confidence and with a good attitude. He is very skilled, strong, experienced and pleasant. I felt entirely comfortable leaving him alone in the garage to do his work in peace. Previously, with other companies' repairmen, I felt extremely uncomfortable due to their aggressive personalities. I would not leave the garage while they were present since I had negative gut feelings about their tendencies. E.G., I stood watch while they were onsite. Theft was accomplished, despite this, in one case. Precision has provided me with a level of comfort due to their ability to hire professionals with good ethics!

Am a little disappointed from the get go. I needed quick help to get my door open to get car out after balance spring came loose. I got that help but the tech was diverting request for a quick repair saying it would cost ~500.00 for a repair when I was going to purchase a new system anyway. Said he didn't have a spring in his truck. He was focusing on selling a new package. I intended to purchase a new door and power unit anyway after an estimate. He left after writing a purchase contract without reconnecting my spring leaving me a 76 yo, not smart to be on a ladder, to do the job myself. Took me 20 min. to connect the spring and all is working now. My old door is heavy and difficult for me to raise and lower manually so I needed the power unit during the interim waiting for new door installation. Nothing was broke the spring just came loose and I would think it be common practice for him to make that minor but essential fix for me prior to departing. Am optimistic that new package will be installed in a timely matter and professionally, We shall see.

The door failed on our way out of town. Precision had a technician out that afternoon. He repaired and replaced the springs, rller and cable pulleys. He was knowledgeable and explained each step. Superbly professional and technically expert. we have used them several times over the last 8 years and wouldn't think of going to anyone esle.

Following a lightening strike, the garage door opener was no longer operational. A quick call to Precision had a technician to our home the next day. The technician quickly assessed the problem and installed a new opener and wall button. In addition, a thorough inspection of the doors, track, wiring, etc. was conducted and a report shared prior to the technician's departure. Very professional and friendly service along with fair pricing makes Precision worthy of a top rating!

Garage door broke on a Sunday right after lunch. I thought I would be charged an still and leg for a Sunday service call. Was I surprised when my tech Jerry gave me the estimate. No weekend service charge and they even had a special. Door was fixed within a couple hours at a very fair price. I will definitely use them again.

This was my third time using Precision....they are always on time, the service technicians are professional, personable and honest. My door started making a lot of noise, i thought it was going to be an expensive fix but only a "tune-up" which included lubrication and some tightening of joints. What good news!

I called to get my garage door repaired. Thank goodness the man that came out told me that the springs were not big enough to handle my door. When pulling the cord to disable the opener the door was so heavy I couldn't lift it and could fall down so hard that it could kill or hurt someone badly. He replaced the springs and now I can lift the door with one hand. When pulling it down manually, it stops at each section of the door so it can't slam down. I feel better knowing that my grandchildren could never get harmed from my garage door falling on them. The service man was pleasant and so nice. He gave me a break down of all costs so I could pick and choose what was within my budget that day. I of course chose the items that were a safety concern. You won't be disappointed in this company.

I couldn't be happier with our door install. I ordered a Haas Steel Insulated door with a Chamberlain opener. The quality of the door and opener is outstanding. The installers were extremely professional and courteous. The customer service is the best. I should have had this done a long time ago.

Precision Door Service gets one star instead of zero stars because they did send a technician out quickly to look at our garage door opener which had suddenly quit working. The technician was courteous and knowledgeable about garage door openers in general, but he told me that our current opener - not a brand they install - was not repairable and tried to sell us an entirely new package for about $500. I did some research on line and found the part needed to fix our unit for under $10 from Amazon. My husband read the manual on our unit and repaired the broken screw drive in less than 2 hours. It is working beautifully now! I'm not sure if the technician was just unfamiliar with our type of opener or it is common company practice to up-sell products and services, but I can't recommend Precision based on my experience.
