The technician was courtesy and was on time. He recommended that our door needed to be replaced. He said there was no charge to come out and look at the door. Have to wait until we talk to owner of business but the rate he quoted us was very reasonible and would call back if we decide to replace door.

Used Angie's List Big Deal. However, after talking with Charlie, the tech, I decided it would be best to purchase and install a new door. Charlie was extremely helpful in helping me understand the alternatives. The new door is to be installed on Wednesday, 12/27/12. So far I am extremely impressed with Precision Door.

AMAZING, found company on Angies List.. couln't believe..said open until past 11 on a Fri.., I thought right..but sent them and email anyway and received a call in a few minutes.. technician within a few hours. Luis was professional, knowledgeable, and came with the needed items..he had the torsion springs and rolooers replaced within 40 minutes!! Life was Grande!! Highly recommend.

professional website, Kalip our tech was on time, courteous, professional, & knowledgeable. After discussing our options with him we chose to have the gear replaced in our opener and Kalip adjusted our springs at no charge.We thought we needed new springs, at the very least. We will be looking to do a garage door overhaul after the holidays and will ask for Kalip to be our tech.We would highly recommend this company, and this tech.

Mr. Ryan Homan was my Technician and he did a great job. He explained the "what and why" of everything he needed to do and then he did it. All businesses will tell you how great they are but do the employees who show up at your home embody that. In this case yes, Mr. Homan was professional, friendly, and competent. The service call was easy to arrange and it was same day. The price was fair. I never want cheap. I want the fair price for great work and I got that from Precision.

I cannot praise "Precision Garage Door Service" any higher! I live in Hunters Creek and my door garage door crashed shut, preventing me from getting my car out! I searched on the internet and found 'Precision'. I called them, they answered on the second ring, they were extremely helpful and understanding and they had someone at my home within the hour. One of their tech's, Kalip, showed me how the main spring had broken and the door had buckled when it fell, he suggested a full replacement and was back with a new door and spring etc. within 2 hours. 2 hours later it was fitted and working. Kalip was very professional and I commend him for his sense of urgency. Thank you Precision. I will recommend your company to everyone I know.

Thank you Precision Door for installed a new garage door on my house! I called to see if they can repair a very old garage door but the Tech, Charlie Merino, was very honest to me and explained me the advantage to replace all parts that way I will avoid future breaks and save money. I decided to install a new door and the tech was very professional during the whole process of installation. Pattie Canada was very helpful to me when I decided to change my order for glass door instead of plain door. DEAR SCOTT, I HAD TWO SERVICES DONE BY PRECISION. THE FIRST ONE WAS ON JULY 17,2012 TO REPLACE MY BOTTOM WEATHER STRIP OF MY GARAGE. THAT TECHNICIAN WAS "WILLIAM ROBERTS" WITH HIS TRAINEE "MICHAEL YOUNG" MY APOINTMENT WAS FOR 6-8PM THAT EVENING OF THE 17TH. "WILLIAM ROBERTS" AND HIS TRAINEE ARRIVED EARLY TO MY HOME. ARRIVING EARLY IS A GOOD THING, HOWEVER I REQUESTED THROUGH THE OFFICE WHEN MAKING THE APPOINTMENT TO CALL BEFORE ARRIVING. THIS DID NOT HAPPEND. AFTER MEETING "WILLIAM ROBERTS" AND HIS TRAINEE "MICHAEL YOUNG" I GOT A SENSE THAT I WAS DEALING WITH PROFESSIONALS. MR. WILLIAMS SHOWED ME AND EXPLAINED TO ME THE TYPE OF WEATHER STRIPS THAT PRECISON USES.AFTER INSTALLING THE NEW WEATHER STRIP, HE DID HIS INSPECTION ON ALL THE PARTS OF MY GARAGE. THERE WAS A BROKEN BRACKET THAT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. MR. WILLIAMS SAID SOME WORDS LIKE "OH THAT LOOKS LIKE AN OLD PART, LETS SEE IF I CAN FIND ANY IN MY TRUCK" NOT THE WORDS YOU WANT TO USE IN FRONT OF THE CUSTOMER, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOUR MAKING A FIRST IMPRESSION. AFTER LOOKING HE FOUND A BRACKET AND REPLACED IT. WHILE MR. WILLIAMS WAS FINISHING UP, HIS TRAINEE WAS HELPFUL IN SPRAYING DOWN SOME OF THE PARTS WITH SILICON FOR PROTECTION AGAINST RUST. MR. "MICHAEL YOUNG" WAS VERY IMFORMATIVE ON ANSWERING MY QUESTIONS AND EXPLAINING WHAT HE WAS SPRAYING AND FOR WHAT REASON. IM SURE HE WILL DO GOOD WHEN HE'S ON HIS OWN. I BELIEVE FIRST IMPRESSION'S TELL YOU HOW THAT COMPANY WORKS AS PROFESSIONALS OF THERE CRAFT AND HOW THEY TAKE CARE OF THE CUSTOMER. THOUGH I WAS SATISFIED WITH THE BEGINING OF THE SERVICE. MR."WILLIAM ROBERTS" DID NOT FINISH STRONG TO THE END. AFTER THE SERVICE WAS DONE AND THEY LEFT, I FOUND MYSELF DOING A QUICK INSPECTION AND FOUND HAND PRINTS ON THE INSIDE AND OUTSIDE OF THE GARAGE DOOR(WHICH I HAD TO WIPE DOWN-NOT GOOD)THERE WAS ALSO A FEW SCREWS,OLD NAILS,WASHERS,THAT WERE FROM THE OLD WEATHER STRIP AND BROKEN BRACKET PARTS. EVEN A SMALL WRENCH TOOL LEFT BEHIND. AFTER CLEANING UP THOSE THINGS I HAD A LITTLE DOUBT THAT EVERYTHING WAS A OKAY. WELL THE NEXT MORNING WHEN INPECTING THE OUTSIDE GARAGE DOOR, I NOTICED A BIG GAP ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF MY GARAGE DOOR, WHICH WAS NOT THERE BEFORE PRECISION HAD ARRIVED. AFTER CALLING YOUR OFFICE RIGHT AWAY AND EXPLAINING TO THE OPERATOR THE PROBLEM, THEY SET UP A TECH.I BELIEVE IT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE HECTOR RIOS BUT INSTEAD I GOT A CALL FROM "RYAN HOMAN" THAT HE WAS GOING TO BE THE TECH. COMING TO LOOK AT IT. #1- HE CALLED IN ADVANCE - THAT'S GOOD. AFTER MEETING RYAN AND EXPLAINING HIM THE PROBLEM, HE PICKED OUT THE PROBLEM RIGHT AWAY. RYAN EXPLAINED TO ME THE WRONG TYPE OF BRACKET WAS INSTALLED WHERE THE PREVIOUS BROKEN BRACKET WAS REPLACED BY "WILLIAM ROBERTS" SO WITHOUT HESITATION MR. "RYAN HOMAN" CORRECTED AND REPLACED IT WITH THE "RIGHT" TYPE OF BRACKET. EVEN CHECKED FOR THAT GAP AFTERWARDS. THE GAP WAS NOT THERE ANYMORE. AFTER TALKING WITH RYAN I WAS GLAD HE WAS THE TECH. THAT SHOWED UP. MR. RYAN ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS, GIVING ME A PEACE OF MIND. AFTERWARDS HE WAS INPECTING MY GARAGE EVEN MORE AND RECOMENDED A "VINYL TRIM KIT" FOR MY GARAGE DOOR. EXPLAINED TO ME WHAT IT'S PURPOSE IS AND EVEN RECOMENDED THE RIGHT COLOR IN (WHITE) THAT WOULD LOOK THE BEST WITH THE COLORS OF MY HOME. AFTER HEARING WHAT HE HAD TO SAY I CALLED THE PRECISION OFFICE AND MADE AN APPOINTMNT FOR THAT VINYL TRIM KIT FOR THE NEXT DAY ON JULY 19, 2012. WITH OUT A DOUBT I ONLY REQUESTED "RYAN HOMAN" FOR THE TECH. THAT THURSDAY MORNING OF THE 19TH. I GOT A CALL FROM RYAN (WHICH I HAD ALSO REQUESTED BEFORE ARRIVING)RYAN SAID HE WOULD BE ARRIVING EARLY FOR THE APPOINTMENT.(THAT'S GOOD) MR. RYAN ARRIVED AND TOOK CARE OF BUSINESS. DID A OUTSTANDING JOB FROM START TO FINISH. CLEANED UP AFTERWARDS, MAKING SURE TO ASK FOR A SPRAY CLEANER AND PAPER TOWELS TO WIPE DOWN THE TRIM KIT. AGAIN OUTSTANDING! RYAN HOMAN'S ATTENTION TO DETAIL IS GREAT ESPECIALLY COMING FROM A "MILITARY VETERAN" LIKE MYSELF. RYAN IS VERY HONEST WITH THE CUSTOMER AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. ALL YOUR TECHS. SHOULD TAKE AFTER RYAN. PERHAPS MAKE A EMPLOYEE STAFF OPERATING MANUAL TO FOLLOW. RYAN GOES BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY WHEN HE'S WITH A CUSTOMER. SCOTT PLEASE COMMEND RYAN FOR HIS OUTSTANDING SERVICE FOR A JOB WELL DONE. I WILL PASS ALONG TO MY NEIGHBOR'S AND FRIENDS TO GO WITH PRECISION AND TO ASK FOR RYAN HOMAN - "EXCELLENCE OF EXECUTION" AS THERE TECH. ON ANOTHER NOTE MR. SCOTT IF YOU CAN UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE BOTH. NOT REALLY SURE WHY THERE ARE TWO DIFFERENT SITES.ONE I LOOKED UP IN THE YELLOW PAGES AND THE OTHER IS THE MAIN ONE.THE PROMOTIONS OR SPECIAL OFFERS/COUPONS ARE ONLY ON THE MAIN SITE, PERHAPS HAVE 1 SITE THAT HAS EVERYTHING INSTEAD OF HAVING TWO DIFFERENT SITES. PLEASE UPDATE THESE WEB SITES WITH YOUR TECHNICIANS AND THERE BIO INFORMATION UP TO DATE. THE OPTIONS ON THIS REVIEW FORM CAN ALSO USE MORE DETAILED OPTIONS TO CHOOSE FROM. I really appreciated that, even though it was after 5 pm on a Friday when my garage door broke, I was able to have it fixed that same night. Hector was very courteous and explained everything that needed to be repaired on my garage door. I was so grateful that he had all the parts on hand that needed to be replaced and was able to repair everything in one visit. The night before I leave for vacation and the springs pop on my garage door. In an attempt to fix it myself I almost became a one of those statistics of people in the emergency room because of garage door accidents! Called around to several places and got nowhere (one guy even told me he does emergency work... "but not today"). I found Precision, got someone immediately on the phone (thank you Ashley!) and Kalip was out to my house within an hour. Very friendly and professional and did a great job.
