Your technician Robert Fagan was great. He stated what was wrong with our garage door and opener. We had a blown out belt assembly and a bottom hinge was torn out at the bottom panel of our garage door. He recommended various solutions to our problem and we took his recommendation of replacing the belt and rail assemble for the door opener and replacing the hinge at the bottom panel on the garage door. He also gave us a quote to replace the garage door in order to bring this up to current wind code. We give Robert 5 stars for his professional work and recommendations.

I wish to thank tech Scott and his supervisor, tech Jamez and tech Robert. They replaced my broken springs and got our car out the garage. The men worked without power.Hurricane Irma left us with broken garage door springs and no power. The replacement springs are far better than stock springs and I purchased a complete hardware overhaul with a lifetime warranty. I never have to worry about repairs again. I will always call Precision garage door repair service.

Before I knew a cat 4 storm was potentially headed our way, I asked Precision Door Services to come out and look at the 24 year old garage door in place on my property. Nick came at 8 a.m. the next morning, after calling to give me a 15 minute heads up. He spent a considerable amount of time examining the door and its hardware and supports, asking about its history and my usage, determining what my main concerns were, and explaining not only the process but offering two different ways of putting a new door in place. He did not pressure me or make any attempt to sell me the higher priced option. He offered, if I wanted a lesser solution than a new door, to fix part of the problem right then. He did not hurry me about making a decision. I felt very comfortable, and what was even more meaningful to me, he treated me with respect. The choice I made, for an insulated double garage door, will take 3 weeks to arrive, and will be a 3-5 hour process. It is great to have that information available. A few days later, the media began showing the likelihood of Irma coming right up the middle or possibly the east coast, of Florida. I called, on a holiday, and asked if someone could add some struts to brace the door I have, since its age precludes it being up to any code. Next morning, with a half hour advance call to clarify what I wanted done to the old door, Robert came and completed it quickly. He demonstrated quite a bit of knowledge and ability, too. I think both prices are very fair, and I am very impressed by the caliber of the employees I have met.

Called Precision about needing service because my door would not open all the way and they sent over a tech that very same day. The tech (Robert) was very diligent, professional and personable in finding out why this was occurring with the final fix being a change out of rollers, which of course was under warranty. Excellent service from Robert and his company. I feel very fortunate that I picked Precision five years ago for my garage door company. Thank you so very much!

Contacted Precision after installing a New opener (Liftmaster Side mount) and noticed there was a twisting motion when in operation. Opener mounts directly to torsion bar. Asked tech to determine what was causing this twisting motion in the opener during operation. After 2.5hrs of work and replacing both end bearings / hammering on one side of the tracks / relocating some rollers (removal of the garage door opener from torsion bar) the door did more jumping and popping than before. Also, opener still was making excessive twisting motion. Tech told me the problem was that the center bearing was not properly adjusted and was causing incorrect motion of the torsion bar during operation. Explained that he did not have the time to make these adjustments due to another call. Should have pointed this out at the beginning when I asked what was causing the twisting problem. Gave me an estimate to replace torsion bar and springs and left. Also notice that when tech was re-installing the Liftmaster opener it was not properly done. There are torque requirements for this opener and none were applied. I had to re-install the opener myself after tech left to avoid any damage. Another tech came out two days later to evaluate my door performance and said it was fine but he did admit to the jumping while the door was being opened and the twisting was being cause by a torsion bar that had issues. He gave me an estimate to replace the entire door and said this would address all issues. I do not believe that my concerns were properly addressed at the beginning and replacing the two end bearing solved nothing. However, let me be clear that both techs were very friendly and conducted themselves in a very professional manner. Will probably contact some other company in the future.

I was happy to find you were available on weekends as my problem happened on Saturday afternoon when I discovered the garage door would slowly drop to the floor when I tried to stop it opening up all the way. Your repair man Robert was here within the hour of my call and diagnosed a broken spring which he promptly fixed. Robert showed up at the expect time, called to let me know he was on the way. When I explained to him what i did the last time the tech was here he sort of knew what was wrong this time. The other tech didn't tell me about cleaning off the paint on each section.
